San Gimignano

 

San Gimignano was a four hour layover before we headed to Assisi, Italy. A wonderfully lazy morning and the sun was shinning. I just walked the side alleys and by now you should know my obessions - doors, clinging ivy, fountains and windows. I also adorded how the stores were displayed at this hilltop.The best gelato, in my opinion and I tasted a lot of gelato, during my trip in Italy was here at Gelateria Pluripremiata. Challenge accomplished!
